I found this receipe on someone else's blog and it looked so.... good that I want to try and make it and thought I would also share it. I will take a picture if mine turns out as beautiful as her's did and only if it does lol. It looks like a really simple one to make so I want to try it out and peach cobler is one of my favorite. Wish me luck.
2 large fresh peaches or 4 small fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 cups sugar divided
1/2 cup butter melted
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
Mix peach slices with 3/4 cup sugar, set aside.~Pour melted butter in 8 inch square baking dish, set aside.~Mix flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and remaining sugar.~Stir in milk to flour mixture, until just combined.~Pour flour/milk mixture over butter.~Top with the peaches and sugar mix. It should look like a bunch of batter floating in butter.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
- I have 5 beautiful kids (2 that I had and 3 that my husband had) I am married to the perfect person, he's funny, kind and he's my best friend. We love doing so much of the same things. God is most important in my life, my family and friends are right up there too. I pray my kids will find love and happiness. I hope I have lots of grandchildren some day. I enjoy doing crafts, scrapbooking, sewing, gardening, reading, having family and friends over and I want to write a book someday, that about describes me.
