Yesterday my dear friend Lola passed away. I have know her for 27 years. She is the mother of one of my best friends. She was such a sweet, funny, entertaining lady. I loved her wit. She always made me laugh. She was like family to me and she asked about everyone in my family and loved my kids. We didn't see her much once they moved out of the area but I always stayed in touch by phone and got to see my friend at least once a year so I felt like I never missed anything. I am truly going to miss her. She was like a grandmother to me.
I mostly feel bad for my friend Loreen, she is so sad. Her and her mother are so close and it is going to be such a lose to her. I just pray and ask for prayers that she will be OK. I do feel so blessed to have known Lola and thank God that he brought her into my life. I know she is in heaven with God & Jesus and is reunited with her mother and no longer suffering, that gives me comfort.
